‘Tis the season of making New Year’s resolutions.
Now, as someone who helps people achieve their health goals, I’m not a huge fan of New Year’s resolutions. When you implement big changes all at once, you’re setting yourself up for failure.
Change that’s lasting is gradual and takes time.
Instead of a New Year’s resolution, I challenge you to do something a little different.
I challenge you to start the New Year with a new way of thinking about your health.
Look, if you’re reading this, you’ve either registered for one of my online or in-person seminars or you’ve visited my website looking for solutions.
Whether you’re tired of taking your prescription medications or you just don’t have the energy to keep up, you know that what you’ve been doing isn’t working for you.
I applaud you for realizing that it’s time to make a change.
Now, I want you to step back and look at how you’ve addressed your health in the past. Maybe you’ve put your health on the back burner while you raised your family. Did you seek help from a doctor only to be put on yet another expensive prescription? Did your doctor tell you nothing’s wrong, yet you just don’t feel like yourself?
How have the solutions you’ve implemented in the past changed your outcomes? Did you lose weight only to gain it back? Did you start antidepressant medications only to need a larger dose?
Whether it’s chronic disease, anxiety, depression, insomnia, autoimmune … these conditions don’t define you. They’re simply symptoms of an underlying issue. If you don’t find and address the underlying issue, you won’t heal.
Take a moment and think about your goals. How would your life be different if your health wasn’t an obstacle? What would you do? How would you feel? If you felt great, how would that impact your loved ones?
So I challenge you to slide into that driver’s seat and take the wheel. Don’t settle for a solution that doesn’t allow you to feel your best. Don’t be afraid to step out of a system that isn’t serving you or your health.
Living well, living vibrantly is just around the corner.
Stay healthy and safe –
Dr. John Fulginiti
